Writing at the intersection of emerging tech and cultural trends.

Samantha Radocchia or “Sam Rad” for short is an avid writer, cultural critic, and published researcher. Her mainstream work on emerging tech, blockchain, entrepreneurship, leadership, and risk taking has been featured in Forbes, Newsweek, Business Insider, Fast Company, Huffington Post, Inc, and many more. Sam is a regular contributor to Forbes Magazine, covering Money & Markets, Cryptocurrencies, and Blockchain.

Her academic research in anthropology, linguistics, and critical theory focuses on ethnographic inquiry at the intersection of technology and society. Sam lived in the virtual world, Second Life, for 6 months in 2009, where she set up a digital t-shirt shop in order to study exchange of virtual assets and currencies. It was then she was introduced to Bitcoin.

She’s continued to write, research, document, and film throughout her journey as an entrepreneur. Sam has been the subject of a television series and she also writes for documentary, film, and creative fiction.

Most recently, Sam grappled with the impacts of decentralization on our culture in her #1 Best Selling book, "Bitcoin Pizza: The No Bullshit Guide to Blockchain."
